VanityMC is a Minecraft server which runs on the Direwolf20 pack and also includes a variety of plugins to enhance your ingame experience with us. The server itself is based in the UK and has got a very nice connection even to players around the world! We are looking to grow a new friendly and mature community! We are welcoming members to our server to increase the size of our community to make a very enjoyable experience for all members. We enjoy coming on Teamspeak and talking as we play. We enjoy having fun discussing a variety of topics on teamspeak whilst building great structures, complex systems, machines, computer/turtle code and more together as a community.

The server provides the community with opportunities to get together and have fun with many features being worked on such as a unique parkour world, build competitions to win prizes, VIP area with cool features for members who support the server, community shop to trade items with other players, a portal room to teleport to different useful places on the server, an admin shop to buy ingame items with 'Vanity Credits' purchased on our website to support the server and much more! If you are new to the mods or a veteran we think that the server will still be an awesome environment for you to come and express your creativity! We are more than willing to help you with anything.
We would like to consider our community to be mature, however still manage to have loads of fun while playing nicely together. Server is generally most busy at 5:00pm - 12:00pm BST.

Plugins:
We use a variety of plugins to help enchance your experience when playing on our server to make it more enjoyable! These plugins require NO extra installing on your side so all you need to do is launch Direwolf20 1.6.4, join the server and have fun!
Some plugins we use include GriefPrevention, World Edit, World Guard, Essentials, PermissionsEX, Buycraft, GUI plugin (/gui), CommandSigns, PlayerPoints, Parkour and more!
We even develop our own plugins that don't conflict with mods.
We take frequent backups of the server.
GriefPrevention:
We have a land protection feature available (GriefPrevention) for new players to use to protect your land from any potential griefing from other new members. This feature also offers you the chance to play with your friends but still have your land protected from others who may plan on grieving. You can share your land with another player with one simple command. This feature is not a requirement to be used and you can also choose not to protect your 'base' offering more freedom and closer relationships with others. Events:
We will be running community events on our server at least once per week. These events include a wide variety of different things such as PVP (team games, hunger games, ffa's), PVM (boss fights) and more. We spend as much time as possible throughout the week creating the events to make them as fun as possible for everyone. Some events also include ingame prizes.

None. Limits to Mystcraft.
Rules:
- Griefing and stealing will not be tolerated in any way. All griefers or thieves will be instantly banned.
- Nukes are disabled. TNT and other explosives must be used under control.
- You must not attempt to duplicate or exploit any bugs within minecraft or mods. Attempting to do so may result in a ban or removal of items.
- All buildings and structures within the spawn walls are community based such as the community market, casino, VIP area, party room, portal room, arena and more. You must not attempt to steal or claim anything within the spawn area.
- All personal buildings must be built outside the spawn and are to be considered private to the builder/owner only unless you are invited to enter.
- Pranking is not tolerated unless it is used in a fun way that will not cause serious damage to a player or their builds.
- Respect all other members on the server, offensive language that may offend others will be tolerated.
- Try to prevent mining on nice landscapes in the overworld with any type of quarry/mining turtles unless it is for personal building purposes, it is required that you use quarries in the mining age or twilight forest for mining.
- Make sure you cover up any quarry holes to prevent other players from falling to their death.
- Quarrying in the twilight forest, mining age and nether is accepted anywhere but must be covered up when complete.
- This is not a PVP server however PVP is enabled but must be kept to a mature, friendly way.
- We prefer it if you come on teamspeak as frequently as possible. We prefer this so we can get to know our players.
- Most importantly have fun!

We spent several days building our server spawn before we released it to the public. We went for a theme in which the area within the spawn walls has been turned into a hell style area with dragons invading.
