Have you tried putting it in already? If you crashed as a result, could you put the crash report on pastebin.com and put the link here so we can troubleshoot?

Hey Wagon,

I haven't tried it yet. It is a multiplayer server that I am a moderator on. So I didn't want to jack anything up.

I personally suggest first loading it up in single player to make sure there is no block ID conflicts(It'll tell you immediately) or item id conflicts(not so obvious. Can be found by looking through the forgemodloader log.)

That's a great idea. I'll have to wait till I get home from work a bit later but I'll post the results

Last I checked it was extremely buggy and needed to be installed into the jar. Would not recommend.

*edit* looks like its installed the normal way nowadays which is good.

Hey @Wagon153 and @epidemia78 , looks like the other players on the server (all 4 of them) want custom NPC's instead of this one. Is there a way to use Custom NPCs on a multiplayer server? What I mean is that can each individual person on the server create their own custom skinned NPCs for their own village / area? Also lets say that I want a particular skin for my people, do the other players need that skin to be able to see it from their end?

I thought I would ask you two on here instead of creating a new thread. Unless you think I should start a new one...

Thanks in advance gentlemen.

I use custom NPCs so this is a good place to ask. It already has a whole bunch of skins you can choose from, and body shapes. If you want more though Im fairly certain everyone would have to have them installed somewhere.

Roger that. I was just watching a video on custom NPCs.

To install this for use in multiplayer, does each player need to install it client side as well as having it installed with the server? And is it difficult to put into the Monster pack?

Every player needs it client-side, yes.

As for difficulty of implementation, it doesn't seem like the kind of mod that would conflict too much, but I can't say for certain. It should be testable in SSP, try adding it to the modpack and firing up an SSP world to see if anything crashes/conflicts.

Ok now that our server is finally settling in (we had to change modpacks, twice in the last two days), I'd like to get custom npcs rolling.

With regards to installation: everyone needs to have it installed from server to clients.
Which mods folder does this need to go into? Regular minecraft mods folder or should it go into the FTB mods folder with the other Tech World2 mods?

This is probably an obvious answer but i want to do it right before I instruct others to do it too.
