Uses for Platinum in Agrarian Skies?

Not sure about it, but can you use it to make new metals with thaumcraft?

If it has aspects, and they can be used to make new metals, then yeah, you can.
I'm gonna check in game what aspect platinum has. Gonna guess some Greed and Metal at least, maybe some other stuff too.

Speaking of which, anyone know why I keep getting a "ghost" of electrum in my smeltery? On the tooltip (for the smeltery block) it says "Electrum 0 MB" or some such. It dosnt have an ammount in the smeltery GUI, either. Its really annoying me, as I have to constantly manually put the other metals under it to pour out, and after 1 or 2 ingots pour out (if even that) it falls back to the bottom.
EDIT: Now its happening with invar...

I want to use Factorization but its not interesting to me. Once JABBA came around I had no real use for it. I'm glad someone is getting some fun from the mod.

FZ has servos...
They're the automation system in FZ. I used to not care about FZ, since all it really had worth mentioning was barrels. Now, the barrels are a sidenote, and it's got cool stuff, and the barrels it has are actually useful in it's servo automation systems as one can use them to process a bunch of something all at once. For example, need a few stacks of gold ore lacerated? Shove it in a FZ barrel and send that barrel at it!

If you only use FZ for Barrels, now is a good time to check it out again. There is enough stuff in it now that the barrels are nothing more then a sideshow with benefits for the main gig. Now it seems to be more about Automation, and it looks pretty cool I admit. If you want to use it but can't find anything interesting in it, forget about the barrels for now and look deeper.
