I have searched everywhere for any information on this but I didn't find anything. I wasn't sure where to post this either so here goes.... Am I doing something wrong or has FTB not gone to the 1.5 update? If they have then how do I get my Mindcraft to be 1.5?

FTB itself cannot update to Minecraft 1.5 until each of the individual mods have been updated, tested, and released for 1.5. It may be a couple months, or more, depending on the mod authors.
... I love the playing the mindcrack pack and would love to have the new crafting that came out in 1.5
