Updating server

Hi fellow FTB'ers.

I am currently running a small Direwolf20 server with some friends of mine and have noticed a new modpack update has arrived. My question is then can anyone give me instructions to how I correctly update the server without any major and as few minor issues with the world save as possible.

Backup your world then update the mods and config folders should do the trick. Then if anything goes wrong then you have a backup that you can work with.

Correct and not a problem!

Delete the mod and config folders on the server before replacing, if you don't you may end up with duplicate mods a new and old version.
