Updating FTB Server

Hi there guys,

I want to update my FTB server to v8.3.1 but I have been hesitant to do so as this will be my first update and I don't want to corrupt any of the files or have anything go wrong. Would anybody be able to give me a bit of help or tell me some steps I should take when updating my server?

I am using the Mindcrack Modpack and am currently on v8.2.0. My server is hosted by beastnode. If you need any additional information please let me know.

BACKUP. First you need to BACKUP. As in make a BACKUP of your world. Then, you go to launcher, select correct version and press "download server". This gives you the server files. Then you go to your servers files, change the name of config/mods/coremods/(openperipherals?) folders to something like "modsold" etc. Then you make new folders called the same (config etc.) and upload the correct files from the server files you downloaded to the correct folders.
