I also have some issues downloading FTB. The launcher works just fine, except that it doesn't ensure that all files have been downloaded and the mods have been installed. I'm on a 64kbit 3G connection here (Not possible to do something about that). And until now it was impossible to download the mod pack... It just stopps at about 5000 to 6000 Kb.
