Hint: There is no RedNet for 1.4.7, and there is no Redpower for 1.5.1
Hint: Redpower 2 isn't the RedNet used in the images I was referencing, MineFactory Reloaded was. And MineFactory Reloaded has those only in 1.5.1 to boot. Thus it was built in 1.5.1. I don't know how the system works because it's so fucking vague. "Slightly processing nets more Essence then what you put in" was about all I got, and the only process line mentioned for netting more essence then what you put in was "fabricate stone bricks then autocraft them", which makes me assume that you'd be trying to make Chiseled Stone Bricks from them, something that admittedly isn't the sole purview of Redpower 2(just the one that can straight to mind), but it is something you can't do in vanilla. Nor with just Ars Magicka.

Hint: You proposed a theory that was proven invalid by the design of the experiment.

Also, I don't autocraft. You can see the machines I use.\

Also^2, autocrafting tables don't need MJ power.

Hint: This Hint thing is stupid. Can we stop this?
Secondary Hint: How are you generating your essence loop anyway? This looks cool and fun but you've provided very little info on how this actually works. It's one thing to see blocks, it's another to know what you have in them.(plus I can see Thermal Expansion blocks, and that's a very fuzzy zone for me since they aren't very visually distinctive to me)

Infinite Essence machine I found on the reddit. I can't find the reddit post but here's the pics & explanation

...That's the one Doct0r made. And posted links to in this thread. And I am confused about what's being used to produce the infinite amount of Essence.

...That all being said, I'm planning on setting up a couple Light Nexus, some arcane batteries, and generating free essence FOR FREE. Seriously, why over-complicate the system? Positive Loops can be done with many mods/games, and yet I often see people forgetting that sometimes these mods/games have a machine/device which cuts out the "middle man" and makes getting Infinite amounts of "X" possible without any extended setups, nor any over-engineering. Maybe it's slow, or expensive, but it's still there.

And with 100 it gives 233. Putting it at normal Fortune III bonus, and less than a full GT or Factorization setup.
Still the fastest and cheapest* (or most accessible, I guess) way to get more than 2x ore income, and it's fully intentional. Also, huh, who doesn't love mining a block and watching Fortune do its job?

*you need 450 pieces of Lapis, but oh well

Oh fine.

There are lots of ways. Ars values items based on their rarity in vanilla. Mods let you create a lot of vanilla-rare items in easy ways. The pulverizer, for example, turns stone bricks into cracked stone bricks. It costs 300 essence to fabricate a stone brick and is worth 4500 essence as a cracked stone brick.

Used to be that simply making cobblestone slabs would triple their value, but the vanilla only changes, with a crafting table, have all been removed. So it's really only in a mixed mod environment that this even comes up. Look for some way to generate vanilla items (because that's all Ars will give value too, unless you configure it) that can easily be generated. Don't just throw that cobblestone in, or pulverize that cobblestone to sand (which actually lowers its value), use a factorization grinder to turn it into gravel, and pulverize that to make flint, valued at 7 times the cobblestones value. Because flint is a paint to get in vanilla.

If you start looking at just general farms...well, leaves are worth 70 essence each. MFR farms will give you leaves as easily as pressing a button. There are a lot of leaves in a tree.

Very little will beat that 4200 essence profit in just a few seconds though.

The default install of Ars I initially used recognized copper and tin and would fabricate it as well, but KirinDave is a big meanie.

Actually that's only the case because the copy of Ars that generated the config did not know about it. I can blow away the costs file on the next release.

See, I have no problem with this. People are fretting like this is a bad thing, but it's really not.

That's because I haven't built my 250 tall high mage tower made out of gold blocks, redstone blocks, and lapis blocks and blinded you with my garishness.
