Only creates round spheres or ellipsoid circles, but no ellipsoid spheres.

The Perfect Sphere program Abdiel posted works great though. The only downside is that you have to measure stuff in image editing software or by hand.

I like the observatory model, I may be able to model a cannon turret out of it!

Progress update:

Made some good progress on my automated processing line, but have a LONG ways to go on it. Currently in the back of the saucer section, I'll move it later once I get the part of the ship where it's going done but I want to get a good idea for spacing and the required number of machines so it's a good test. My surrent bottleneck is only 5 powered furnaces- they can't keep up with my quarry cobble output but are probably enough once I stop making stone bricks. I only have a few holes in the base floor left to fill in, and I definitely need to build another few iron golem farms!

If anybody has tips on how to fill barrels with iron blocks fast, I'm listening :)

Might be a bit late to mention this, but instead of a cobble gen > furnace > smooth stone > brick setup you can go with a magma crucible > smoothstone gen > brick setup. A single bucket of lava can produce 50 smooth stone in the igneous extruder at the cost of MJ from burning netherrack/cobble or from just pumping a lava source and you wouldn't need to smelt the stone. In a way it would produce the stone faster, but be a bit more power intensive.

For numbers if burning cobble it would take 2.5x more power per smooth stone, burning netherrack the power usage is the same as smelting the cobble, and if just pumping lava it would be the cost of pumping the lava. The powered furnace takes 160 mj per smooth stone, for power references.

Since you're probably swimming in cobble now it's probably a non-issue, but it's something that's good to know for future reference at least.

Edit: Blah, but it looks like he nerfed Magma Crucibles with netherrack again, so it'll probably be more expensive for that as well.

Igneous Extruder, you mean. And yeah, that'd be much more efficient in terms of stone brick production.

And nothing says you can't have double the production facilities! :D

Igneous Extruders are the cobble/stone/obsidian generator the magma crucible is what makes lava

Not sure if this is fast, but iron can be infinitely produced by turning iron to steel in a blast furnace, then crafting it into 2 carts for each 5 steel in an automatic crafting table. After that the mine carts can be put alloy furnaces to get 5 iron each. All that's needed to make it completely automatic is to connect everything with tubes and supply fuel from a Forestry farm.

That was just a temporary setup, now disassembled. I'm currently voidpiping 2/3 of the cobble my quarry makes and using the rest for ongoing stone brick needs. Any more than that will overflow my 5 powered furnaces :)

That sounds like a glitch to me, I'm purposefully avoiding "cheat" recipes even though I know of a much simpler/faster one that doesn't involve steel. I will be expanding my iron golem farm soon, maybe tomorrow though!

not really a glitch, but it is an exploitable loophole for those who don't mind using them... (not me though, legit ways only :3 )

filling with iron blocks fast? I suggest making a tier 5 ender farm and then piping the enderpearls into autocrafting tables to make iron and then iron blocks. Anybody else agree?

I disagree. I'd build a huge automatic iron golem farm. Docm has a nice tutorial and I'd put about 70 villagers in each one. Add in more doors to his design so it can spawn 2 at a time.

The one I built spawns one golems every ~10 seconds or less. Though I do have nearly a 600 villagers.

Ok I was thinking all that white was iron tank blocks.. so thats just iron then.

Yes, iron storage blocks. Yellow is brass, I get 2 for every bronze and have been centrifuging lava for copper and tin. I'm building up a stock of electrum also. I haven't decided if I want to use it as is or separate into gold and silver yet.

I'm working on that soul shard a little at a time. What recipe turns enderpearls into iron, it's not in NEI?

I have the basic 2 tower Docm design running currently. Was planning on adding 2 more towers to it soon.

Put 20 more doors on each one is what I did I think and I have about 150 villagers per "village." Breed them offsite portal gun them to the destination etc.

E: and EE turns them to iron.
