Hi hi :)

Two simple questions (I hope!)...

First one is probably straight forward, rednet cables, whenever I do a server restart a bunch of funky things happen. I have two T5 spider spawners that like to turn themselves on & several industrial steam engines that like to turn themselves off. Although annoying I am not terribly phased by the losing some power for a few hours, but the spawners stop me from automating server restarts which I would really like to be able to do. The setup is not complicated, for the spawners its several spawners (druid, skele, zombie & spiders) attached to the same run of rednet cable all correctly colour coded & levered (orange rednet at lever to orange rednet at spawner, etc etc) - only the spider spawners turn themselves on - the chunks are all loaded that the spawners & cabling are in. I have attached a screenshot for the industrial steam engines - the core of the tower is rednet cabling with the engines attached to each side of it, cable runs underground & then back up to the lever position, generally I attach more than one engine tower per lever (generally 2 given the situation). Some engines have more than one connection on the same run of rednet cable. It's reasonably consistent which ones turn off, although not always.

Some engines turned off...

These ones seem to be fine?

Then my leak... This has me totally lost? Basically consistently in 3 places in my base liquiducts fill themselves with water where there is no water & as far as I am concerned it is a closed loop. For example genepool -> to liquiduct -> to liquid teseract set to send only. All the glass tank components in my smeltery as well as the liquiduct I have attached to it & sometimes even the smeltery like to take on water as well?

Liquiduct

Liquiduct, yes another... (I spared you all looking at number 3 though =P)

Smeltery (soon to be fish tank)

Any help would be appreciated & sorry for the long post!
Thanks! :D

edit... I think I put this in the wrong place, please can it be moved if necessary.

Got the same problem with ind. steam engine connected with RedNet cable, every time I play some of them turned off don't know why and its kinda annoying to turn them on again. also with wireless transmitter/reciever.
playing ftb Unleashed SP

leaks maybe caused by your texture pack.

Thanks for the reply, I will try switch out my tp - don't think it's that though as other members on the server are seeing that water as well & I can drain it & watch it slowly refill over time.

The rednet issue only happens on server restart, other than that they behave very well.

I am not 100% on what is happening with your rednet, but I very carefully placed my entire grinder setup within a single chunk and made it self-contained just to avoid anything weird like this ever happening. Try changing the color of the spider spawner cable?

I read that the water-in-pipes issue happens when empty piping and tanks are exposed to the sky during a rainstorm.

For soulshard spawners use a sticky piston pushing a redstone brick up against it to turn on or off as rednet loses it's on status after a server restart.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have tried changing the colours already, including re-building everything. Regardubg the liquids, the pipes may have been exposed to rain at some point, but they have been broken & replaced so many times now undercover. I thought maybe it was some kind of reversal from a tesseract but since not every situation has a tesseract it couldn't be that either.

Thanks I like that idea, It's gonna need me to do some rebuilding but I am looking to upgrade my spawners I think you just gave me the motivation I was looking for :D
