He's building a total conversion mod, not a content mod.

Anyway, this thread has now reached the point of "let's bash GregTech 'cause we can". I recommend we all stop posting here now before this becomes a(nother) case for moderation.
Hey everyone! I like GregTech! (I think that made up for the bashing, and I'm not BS-ing you either).

If you don't mind me resurrecting this old topic, I would like to ask if anyone knows how to fix the issue with stone tools "theoretically breaking" after 48 blocks, but practically working for full 132?
I've recently switched to Unleashed pack and I missed Gregtech so much, I had installed it. New GT is too hardcore for me though, so I changed its settings, but changing DynamicConfig.cfg and GregTech.cfg doesn't seem to be enough. For example, I put wood block in workbench, it shows me that I'm going to get 2 planks, but I get 4 (because I set TooEasyMode=true). Similarly when I put 9 iron ingots, it shows me nothing that can be made from it, but when i click on the output window, I get an iron block (storageblockcrafting {blockIron=true}). And most iritating: stone tools seem to break after 48 uses (sound, animation and all) and get replaced with new ones, but you can keep using it until it reaches 132 blocks and is finally destroyed (smallerStoneToolDurability=false). What configuration collides with the changes I've made and makes it work like this?
Sorry if it was already solved in other topic, this is the closest one i could find.

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
Too be honest- rip out all the wooden tools but the pick and see if anyone notices. Make the pick last for 3 hits and it's all you'll ever need.

Back on topic- theres a vanilla bug with tools and unbreaking enchants reappearing nearing the end of their durability ---something to do with random chance of breaking on the last hit and a bit of server lag. Something along the lines of server does the calculation as client renders, but as SSP requires a server now all the bugs merged; Basically fix your game dinnerbone.
