Didn't even know what a fusion reactor was but I will build it now. That and mass fab(don't know if one defeats the purpose of the other), but I still must build it. Don't know what the F anything in this recipe is for the fusion reactor, thing branches off like 20 times clicking it in nei. Going to take ages. lol

To get the fusion generator to work you also need fusion coils around it. As is shown on the wiki: http://gregtech-addon.wikispaces.com/Fusionreactor
A lot of the cost is in the chrome it takes to create all the parts because of the difficulty in obtaining it (electrolyzing 9 ruby dust for 1 chrome dust)

The sole purpose of matter fab is so that you have to get Iridium from the end/overworld before making uu-matter, and you can even adjust the eu-requirement of matter fabricator to be cheaper than mass fabricator.. If you are using GregTech default mode, it will take a while before you can make a fusion reactor, mainly because of the fusion coils..to make it you need to mine regularly for redstone/ruby/bauxite and also around 30 iridium plates..
