Oh, and what's the most efficient way for ore production in any mod?
Edit: Wrong post
Eeh, I still feel like answering it, because why not? The two current best choices of which I know are either the RotaryCraft
Extractor or a full-blown Mekanism
ore processing line, both of which offer up to 5 ingots to the ore.
RotaryCraft's Extractor is governed by chance, so the RNG may hate you and only give you 1x for every stage, but it also gives you a chance at extra dusts from your ore, like getting aluminum powder from your iron ore or the odd gold flake from your copper, so you could think of it as a beefier version of TE's pulverizer. It also has the advantage of speed scalability, if you play smart and learn to use gearboxes. The increase in processing speed is a function of the speed (in rad/s) put into the extractor, and achieving both enough torque (512 Nm) and speed (8,192 rad/s) to run all four stages in one machine can be a tad bothersome, but if you're a bit clever and have a good lube setup going, you can easily power all stages in one go before you get to jet fuel production.
While Mekanism isn't as scalable or compact as RotaryCraft, it can take advantage of the mod's factory blocks, which have multiple (3, 5, or 7, depending on tier, methinks) inputs and outputs for certain stages of the ore processing line. Another advantage is that its modular: if you don't have all the components for a Tier IV (5x ingots) setup, but enough for a Tier II (3x ingots), you can just build the Tier II and tack the other two stages in later on when you've got the resources. Mekanism's ore processing can also take advantage of the machines' automation features, which means you need fewer item/fluid transport pipes going about the place, which can be good for neat freaks and make overall automation much simpler. It also helps that, compared to RoC, Mek's power generation is far simpler and more susceptible to the brute-force method of power gen.
