Okay so is there any way to make a pickaxe with these specs have instamine? (or close to it)

Materials
Pickaxe Head: Manyullyn

Modifiers
1x Auto-Smelt
3x luck

Perhaps using the stonebound/electric exploit

Uhm. Lots and lots of Redstone? Like add new modifiers (ex with Nether star or Gold Block/ diamond) and fill them up with Redstone.

What do you mean by faction? o_O

Use cobalt thaum binding paper rod ( if you have the thaum ) and then all the modifier adders. ( nether star ,diamond gold block, diamond block notch apple ) and pile the redstone one and luck only takes up 1 modifier

My only recommendation would be to switch the Thaumium and the Paper in their respective parts, as I *think* Thaumium is more durable than paper. Of course, if durability didn't matter, either way would work just fine.

Okay, so I think I've decided

Materials
Pickaxe Head: Manyullyn
Tool Bonding: Ardite
Tool Rod: Ardite

Modifiers
1x Auto-Smelt
3x Luck
1x Flux
1x Redstone

Note: get durability down to 1, then add flux

1,manyullym is better for weapons IMO
2. ardite is a little useless if you are adding flux since the only real purpose i could see for ardite is reinforced, which doesnt really apply to flux IIRC.

If you get the durability down low then put flux, you will use reinforced throughout the flux modifier's lifespan

If you have Mariculture installed ins't Titanium better then cobalt? Because it seems like that on my own pickaxes.

Cobalt speed is 1100, Ardite speed is 800. Titanium Speed is 1500.
Cobalt durability is 800. Ardite durability is 600. Titanium durability in 1.6 is 600, and in 1.7 it's 650.

Yeah the problem with Tinkers construct is that most of the various materials just dont matter when you add flux. Everything but the head should be made of paper to get the best results.
