Thoughts and speculations about TE conduits/pipes

Currently I use Ender IO cable and Mek Universal power cable, but I am sorely missing TE's item/fluiduct in early game play. The Ender IO item cable is tough to make in the beginning, and the XU cables I use early on work well enough but don't look as nice as the old TE ducts.

What I'm *really* hoping for is something that adds more logistics pipes functionality without the buildcraft look. Being able to keep, say, 64 oak saplings in my planter or some such just using a config setting. The stuffing and buffering craziness in Agrarian Skies forced me to run all my farms using AE, which was.. not precisely ideal.

I also loved the look of the old TE conduit. I hope it doesn't change much.

I've honestly just gottenbused to EnderIO period. Ducts, machines and all. Just the happiness of having items, fluids, energy, and redstone control all pipes through the same block space is amazing. Not to mention the painting mahine that allows easy camouflage of said pipes. Pure perfection.

I'd imagine that the energy conduits will have some functionality that'll help with management of always on machines. But that's just pure, ungrounded speculation on my part.
