Thoughts and speculations about TE conduits/pipes

This thread is for what the community thinks will happen with the Thermal Expansion pipes and conduits in 1.7.10.[DOUBLEPOST=1411836941][/DOUBLEPOST]I personally think the pipes and conduits will have augmentations, kind of like the TE machines. I think the item ducts will still require a pneumatic servo to extract, but I think in order to take advantage of it you need a redstone control agument, for example

From what I've heard they're loosing FMP Compatibilty but will probably gain some sort of facade type system of there own
I feel like I'm gonna get tired of using extra utilities and AE2 for everything that has to do with moving items around and stuff like that[DOUBLEPOST=1411844165][/DOUBLEPOST]BTW what's fmp?

From what KingLemming has said in another thread, I suspect that energy conduits are going to be more complex than they used to be.

I think whatever happens, it is already too late. I loved the simplicity & CPU friendly efficiency of the earlier versions of TE. With the added complexity & the lack of ducts, TE has been downgraded from a must have to a supporting role.

My heart now belongs to EnderIO.

Meh, for pure grinding speed, Ender IO can't even touch a fully speed augmented resonant pulveriser. Not much use if you want a decent output of bonus products, but for rapid cobblegrinding to make sand, or grinding certus quartz into dust, it's fantastic.

While I would happily quadruple the speed of the railcraft coke oven & blast furnace, I've never felt the need for more speed out of TE. The bonus output is more important to me (I know I can boost that too if I decide it is worth the hassle of upgrading).

While I would happily quadruple the speed of the railcraft coke oven & blast furnace, I've never felt the need for more speed out of TE. The bonus output is more important to me (I know I can boost that too if I decide it is worth the hassle of upgrading).
I found it useful as part of my automated pure crystal manufacture and for autocrafting the quartz glass needed for AE2. The pulveriser could chew through about 2 stacks per minute, which reduced bottlenecks when it was grinding down the certus and the cobble to get the dust and sand needed

You can turn cobble into sand even faster with Botania: It only takes a few seconds for each stack and doesn't consume much mana :D

Btw can you have more than four crystal growth accelerators?

There were a lot of issues with FMP and conduits/ducts in 1.6.4. FMP is pretty buggy. Maybe bluepower's version will be better.
