I was just jumping between portals(Made by Portal Gun), you know kinda like bungee jumping. I put two portals next to each other then started jumping. A while later (6-7 jumps, jumping from 10-15 blocks high) I dediced to change the location of one of the portals. And I changed the wrong one's location but I was falling from max. 15 blocks high and I said I'll be okay(I have NanoSuit, all charged). But I died! How the hack I died?! :'(

There was lava next to me and I was carrying important items... This can't be...

Sounds like the vanilla bug with cumulative fall damage - the same thing that kills animals hanging from leads 1 block off the ground. I've lost a very good horse this way.
The problem is that vanilla minecraft calculates your fall damage by adding up how many blocks you go down. Going up does not reset your fall damage.
I don't know if this holds true with portal gun portals, but that's what it sounds like.

And that's why I have my long fall boots on while doing ANY portal jumping!

...and Advanced Genetics running as a backup with it's awesome Death Enderchest. Two notable advantages over normal ender chests: It holds 4 extra slots, and takes everything you had on you when you died and puts it in it. So, plop 'er down next to your bed of choice and grab your gear after you bite the bullet(assuming you went all An Hero while giving a gun a blowjob). Helps if you aren't doing Mystcraft shit at the time too. Also helps to have automation systems to pull that stuff out of it if you are worried about dying with cool stuff filling ALL your slots, and finding a thing you need before even emptying the chest and dying again. Also helps to have a ender pouch with a remote orderer in it linked to that ender chest with a spare linkbook just in case. Hopefully the ender pouch can be enchanted with Soulbound from AM2. Also hopefully soulbound and the death ender chest play nice.

Only one question on my mind now, but I'll throw it in the right place rather then here.

Long fall boots are nice but they don't suit with Nano.
I'm not sure Unleashed has AG. But gotta say that nice tactic.

You were playing with portals. Next to lava. With valuable items in your inventory.

Yep. Nothing could go wrong there.
I was in nether and I never saw such a thing before. About lava, I drink Potion of Fire Resistance whenever I go to Nether. I just... never saw such a thing.

Also I'm more interested in the bug side. I just love finding bugs. You know I can make the stuff again. But it will take a lot of time make.

Yep, this is a plain ol' vanilla bug. It's just not very evident until you get into a modded situation. Though you should be able to replicate it in vanilla by going into creative, fly up and down without touching the ground, then when you're a block above ground level, enter survival mode.

THIS IS NOT A VANILLA BUG!!!!!!!!!!111 *rage face*

This is how the portal functions. If you've fallen through portals multiable times in a row, then it would count the blocks fallen multiable times, as it should. Think about it. If you drop a pencil 5 feet above the ground, but instead of hitting the ground it magically teleoported to where you dropped it, and then it hit the ground after that, it would have went down ten feet, not five, and might of snapped or something.

But you know how gravity works in minecraft, right? Floating Islands...
