As the title points out, I am thinking about buying a PC to run a Feed The Beast Ultimate Server, but i'm not sure how the specs on it need to be. I know that it only needs a basic graphics processor because the server itself is text based. I am also not sure how much lag players would get with the internet speeds that I have (Ping 24ms, 15.44 Mbps download, 1.45 Mbps Upload, this is on my laptop which is not connected to ethernet.) The reason I am looking into buying a PC to run the server on is because I rent from Creeperhost at the moment, and I simply cannot afford to keep upgrading it with my growing playerbase. Also, since I am pretty young, I don't have a ton of money that I can just throw away, so I'm setting the price cap at around $250, give or take some. (I already have a screen I can use, however the PC has to have HDMI for me to use it.) Does anyone have any suggestions for specific computers or for things I should look for while i'm shopping around? Thank you for any help!
