To recap for dw20 to convert rf to mj you can still use the conduits from thermal expansion as they can carry mj next all dynamos in TE3 are now worth ISEs due to all of them outputting 80rf/t however if you still opt to use RC boilers just remember steam dynamos as with all dynamos is now worth an ISE. The biogasgenerator from MFR can also seamlessly convert MJ-RF and RF-MJ. If you wish to mod dw20 pack you can add enderIO whicch adds bundled conduits and can seamlessly convert rf-mj or add mekanism which gives you universal cables
In addition to Steam Dynamos being the same power as ISEs and not costing steel, they also dont require a redstone signal to turn on, so they can be setup more compactly than ISEs as well.
If you want RF-only power, I've noticed that the Extra Utilities generators are now in the 1.0.18 version of this modpack. There is likely something that would convert them to MJ power but I don't think you can beat a Nether Star generator for high-end power output!

But as long as we're updating, if you run redstone into a magma crucible into a heated redstone generator you can easily get 320RF/t per generator for a total of a few million RF per bucket (10 redstone dust). This can easily be gotten from a variety of ways in the DW20 pack. Witch farm with MFR, those upside down trees drop it from their leaves if you can farm them, mining, etc. Can yeild lots of sustainable RF much earlier than it takes to make and kill a wither.
