Do you like dynamos over previous power generation methods used in thermal expansion?

Any ideas when we will get them? I am on the latest DW20 pack and still only getting 40 RF from them.

Waiting on the ok from DW. This update will break existing conduits. You'll need to pick them up place them in a crafting grid and pull out the new type. They now have multipart support though.

RF gen in other mods... EnderIO (it natively supports MJ but the conduits can transfer RF), MFR (in a way but it does still produce every known energy system mods add), Mekanism Generators (like MFR), Atomic Science (still like MFR) , Big Reactors, Engineer's Toolbox to name a few

Plus filters seem to be still buggy. I wouldn't update yet.

Mulitpart support?? KL didn't sound so confident about that on the DW videos not long ago. I am so glad they sorted it out. Seems we can hide everything now. YAY. Thanks for the response.

I know this is from a month ago, but I'm kind of disappointed with the steam dynamos and railcraft interaction. I figured a boiler (Considering the huge amount of fuel required) would be able to replace a whole slew of dynamo's but I'm far far better off with magmatics. I was trying to get away from the lava tesseracts etc.. but until steam comes up to par, there's really no substitute.

I could power maybe 12 steam dynamo's from a tesseract containing steam (without them starting to flicker).

A 36HP can power 18 dynamos at full heat. But boilers are pretty much nerfed to hell anyway.

Solid fuel boilers were nerfed (because they were stupidly OP), but liquid fuel much less so. Fairly simple to create a self sustaining Biofuel (Ethanol, w/e) farm to feed a max sized boiler.
@thefinn You're probably better off connecting the dynamos to the boiler and sending the RF through the tesseract, rather than the steam.

Try steam turbines from MFR. 160 rf/t 16 mj/t place on the sides of boilers.
