There is one in the middle of the labyrinth. He is basically the boss of the labyrinth.

Well the Minoshroom is easy or hard depending on how you play it. He is trapped in a room with the doors covered in fences. Just break one or two of them and beat him and he can't get to you. However, if you charge him and enter his domain while he lives you will have a fun time

Yep... sad really they should have done somethign to make the fences pop or the such when you get close.
That should be pretty simple for the author considering the dark forest towers. The anti-builder blocks, vanishing doors, and the ones that build in the direction you are looking when hit with a redstone pulse.
It's a good place to branch mine as there is very little underground lava you can safely go down to lvl 5 unhindered by lava lake walls. But as far as yield goes, it's the same as the over world if you leave out hollow hills.
Hollow hills however are a veritable bounty for those brave enough to go in with a fortune pick/drill. Quarrying them is just wasteful despite it being a safer method.

If you can't clear out a hollow hill with sub-nano armor your vanilla skills are lacking!
sub-Nano? it got smaller? Man I need to actually start looking at these armor mods.
Personally I just use iron armor most days and if I feel I want to be a bit OP I get me some self repairing Thuam armor with protection on it.
How can you hate something you've never tried? I can understand "scared", "petrified", "not interested", "would rather not try because...", but "hate doesn't make sense to me.
I've never been in a hollow hill either, just haven't really gotten around to twilight forest yet.

I still hate hollow hills.
Large hollow hills are one of the few places that can still challenge a late-game player. In maximally enchanted thaumium armor wielding a fully enchanted Sword of the Zephyr and Wand of Lightning, I still have to be very circumspect when I crack one of these open. It's very easy to get surrounded and overwhelmed. Quantum armor or the MPS equivalent makes them trivial, of course, but what isn't that true for? The rewards are worth it, though, at least in the early-to-mid-game.
Although, actually I recall fighting something called "The Naga" Then I found my first diamonds!
3 sizes of hollow hill, the large ones have a lot of resources, nice to put your 1st quarry on as a bit of a resource boost when starting to automate gathering (if you use quarries ofc), I usually just do one though then quarry overworld/mining age. Also uncrafting table is nice if you can get one, or the bits to make one, from the chest sin the hills.
