The TiC Workbench / toolbench combo

When a TiC workbench is placed adjacent to a (Vanilla only ) chest it shows the contents when crafting which is very useful. If (Additionally) it is placed adjacent to tool bench or tool forge, the workbench gets a pickaxe icon in the center (and renames itself too iirc).

I have no idea what extra functionality is unlocked...

You can repair your tools inside it. IE tool + ingot = repaired tool.

You can also add more of the same modifer at once, for instance, 8 lapis blocks around the tool in the center would get you 8 lapis blocks worth of luck added to the tool. If you have either the tinker exo-suit (which I think was discontinued in 1.7.) or the vests or belts or other things, it's needed to modify those at all (as some of the modifiers need more than 2 slots to apply.)

I think this Tinker Table is required for adding modifiers to exo-armor.
