Okay, so my friends and I have been having this weirdest, and most annoying problem we've ever had on our private server. The server one day decided to, I guess lag out is the best way of describing it. It doesn't crash, doesn't shut down. It just decides to stop responding. Of course, we can't connect while it's doing that. All it shows in the console is a single "Read timed out". Here's the strange part: I load up the world in single player, and it does the same thing! I'm in the world and everything, but I can't do anything in it. I can't open chests, put in commands, or spawn stuff in, or anything. Yet, it doesn't kick me out. And there is no FPS lag either. I can supply the server logs and the client logs, but I've looked over both of them, and neither helped me. There is no memory or CPU spikes. And this is a developed world, so it didn't just start happening as soon as we generated the world. I'd like to avoid restarting the world so a fix would be very appreciated.

Also, unfortunately all the logs are too big for pastebin so if you want them, it'll either have to be via a download or in a spoiler.

Swap out your logs, rename it server.log.1.swp and make a new server.log then restart the server. Then it will be small enough to paste on pastebin. Or you could buy pastebin pro :p

it might be worth stating this can happen when no one is logged into the server, (chunkloaders). This is the only thread I have been able to find describing the same issue on the server I play(ed?) on. Server just stops responding. Seems to happen randomly after 15 minutes or as much as 12 hours. Only started happening after updating from 1.0.12 to more recent versions.

As a note, we ended up restarting the world. But before this, I had tried removing all chunk loaders, which did nothing to help.
