It might be me, but if you are looking for help you better start acting polite ;)

If you check your both screenshots you should be able to figure out the problem you have. The error is atleast pretty clear about it.
 
I tried mindcrack_server.jar and it still no work[DOUBLEPOST=1369647769][/DOUBLEPOST]Ashzification said I should use <modpack>_server.jar[DOUBLEPOST=1369647894][/DOUBLEPOST]OHHHHH should I unzip or anything?
 
normally shes right, but how is the .jar called in your first screenshot? Thats the name that needs to be in your .bat
 
I will try helping you, but we will start from the beginning.
Start the FTB launcher.
Click the Feed The Beast Beta Pack A(v12) Minecraft Version 1.4.2, modpack in the list (i assume this is the one you are trying to get to work)
When you have selected the pack, click the "Download Server" button.
You will now download a Zip file, that you have to extract in a folder.
After extracting the Zipfile, you should have the following stuff:
config (folder)
coremods(folder)
lib(folder)
mods(folder)
FTB-Beta-A.Jar
9 different .bat files
server.properties

If you are planing to have several people on your server, start a batfile with a higher number in it. assuming you got enough RAM for it.

But for now, just start the Server start 1GB.bat

Your server should now be running.

Then do this.
Again from the start, so we can pinpoint your problem. (even though everyone is this thread including me know the problem already)

Start the FTB launcher.
Click the "MindCrack Pack (v8.2.0) minecraft Version 1.4.7" in the modpack list.When you have selected the pack, click the "Download Server" button.
You will now download a Zip file, that you have to extract in a folder.
When the zipfile is extracted you should have the following stuff in it:
mods(Folder)
coremods(Folder)
config(Folder)
ftbserver.jar
ServerStart.sh
ServerStart.bat

All you have to do now, is simply double click the .bat file. Do not edit it in any way, just start it.
When it now works, compare it to your old .bat file, and you might be able to spot the problem.


If you need more ram for the server, edit the "xms 512M" and "xmx 1024M" to an ammount that your computer can handle.

Complete instructions:
Open Launcher.
Select Modpack and the version you want.
Click "Download Server".
Create a folder on your Desktop. Name it "Server"
Extract your downloaded server in that folder.
Double click on the server files.

Bam. A server has been created.

Turn the server off.
Turn it back on.

Bam. You have the proper files for startup now.

so that means i should turn all the numbers to 1 in the .bat file[DOUBLEPOST=1369728540][/DOUBLEPOST]the .bat file cmd just flashed
 
Yea and I just figured out to use 127.0.0.1[DOUBLEPOST=1369805707][/DOUBLEPOST]It loops back to localhost[DOUBLEPOST=1369805941][/DOUBLEPOST]It's a bit laggy
 
I know the thread is a bit old now, but if you can give us your system specs, we might be able to help you out with why it's "laggy".
