well, hello. i am Qaz, a Original and Admin of the PhoenixTeam. we just reached 500 pages in our main convo(we have at least another 500 in splinter convos/sub-convos), so we decided to make a "how we got here" thread. as i was the one who got the first post on page 500, i will be the one to create and write the thread.
anyway, let us start from the very beginning of the PT. we originated from a thread by @ThomazM , in which he talked about how the FTB team helped him. here is the thread.

) i joined in on page 2, mostly just chatting with everyone. many events happened in that thread, but the "instigating" post was
mine, i guess(Qaz for PT founder!), srsly tho, that lan thing SUCKED. trying to host on 0.5mbps=bad. the post that made thom the founder was this one. the one that
actually created the PT was this one.
at first it was "awesome chat of awesomeness", but after a while we settled on PhoenixCraft. the first thing we made was this. me and thom
made it, and it was called "lavagate" that was when i had my server just set up, and running vanilla. soon, i upgraded it to PhoenixCraft1(not 2) we played on that for a while,
occasionally adding a member(Gideonseymour and mevansuto off the top of my head) after a while, that server started to slow down, and we became quieter. mostly we just
chatted.
however, after adding a few more(i forget who, okay?) we went through a Revolution of sorts. suddenly there were mappacks in dev, Vaelstrom was a thing, which introduced a couple more people to the PT, and RR1 was released.(also, somehow Gid became a admin) soon after that, there was a "incident" in which an unnamed member invited a couple admins to the chat. the admins were cool and left, a new chat was made, we "officially" renamed ourselves to the PhoenixTeam(okay that happened just before the admin thing, but it kind of made it official) and updated how we did things.
all was well, projects were crated, PC2 became a thing, and we all hade a jolly good time. not much to say really. Ren-whatever the name is is in development(a RP server, no, don't ask to join) and many other things are happening. we appear to be going through a
second revolution, actually. a website is being created, we are planning out our own forums, and good old @Elec332 is making us a launcher. that is mostly our story, if any of the PT wants to add anything, just post it in the tread and i will add it to the post.
