Well, it's getting bad. The world just got blown up for no reason whatsoever.

Fine. The world got exploded because the spambots tried to wipe everyone out, so they could continue their conquest (they're getting smarter) without too much distraction. Let's just say... we were quite the thorns in their sides. And... It may get worse. :|

Techno leaned backwards on the crate. It seemed that there were many budding pilots, but Techno's flying skills often did not account for any kind of biological limit, rendering his way of flying a ship useless, when applied to other creatures. In other words, there were far more suitable tutors.

The spambots had discovered the joy of accelerants. Eventually, they had learned to make themselves slightly less vulnerable to explosions and the instant fireball, though sustained overheating was an issue they would have to resolve soon.

Techno then decided that it may have been a better idea to 'lie low' to put it in common terms. Going down was much easier (and safer) than going up, merely because of gravity.
Upon a landing, Techno walked out, and spotted the charred remains of a spambot on the floor. Poking around the remains, Techno found a transcieving unit and a magnetic storage disc. Curious, Techno picked it up, and put the remains into a small box. These would be ignored, in favour of the resurrection of the conduit bunker.

I like the idea of them understanding accelerants. It will take them a bit longer to figure out how to become resilient to them.

Just note Techno, I'd not let any of your nanobots touch a live spambot too extensively. Also I think you just found Sensorynet storage and receiver.

Also, am I the only one that thinks Johnathan Spirit is a badass name? I'm not saying Whizz is, just his name.

Jared looked at Technician, his body resting against a pillar, the cylinder of bronze metal in his hand, his body shaking and his rapid breath.

"Painkiller. Also orange juice."

Jared left the "experiment" room, and into Technician's medicine and chemical room. The room Technician was in was a circular room, and around it was the rest of Technician's workplace, also in a circle. He opened a fridge, a luxury that no one would have if it was not for Technician, and removed orange juice. He pulled out some painkillers, knowing Technician it would need to be at least six pills.

"Vodka in the orange juice."

Jared sighed, Technician's drinking problem was getting out of hand, as was, well everything. He smoked before, but he ceased recently, in favour of more caffeine, alcohol, and other things.

He brought them to Technician, who downed the vodka-orange juice combo as well as the painkillers rather quickly. He was still shaking.

"That thing is hellish." Jared said, pointing at the cylinder.

"Time for test number two, can you bring in Malory?"

Jared went outside and did just that, bringing in the sickly little girl. She was going to die from a neurotoxin that an idiot spambot hunter tried to kill a spambot with. Jared shot three bullets in the man's skull, but Technician disliked that, as he would've studied the man's brain.

The girl sat in a chair in the middle of the room. Technician looked at her, and Jared closed the door, looking in through glass.

Technician held out the cylinder, and pressed a button on the top. Woosh! Blue light surrounded them both, and Jared blinked and stumbled backward, he looked back through, Malory was dead.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Jared said as he came in. Technician looked at his own forearms, gold-bronze lines went up them.

"I love Spirit's people."

You are the whinest sunovaitch I've ever met in my life.

Learn your Civilization, he's from a DLC.

Noob. (says the guy that's been playing for a month or two.)

I know it's a DLC. I said Brave New World because it's easier to say than Civ 5: Brave New World.

Exactly. No, no, no Techno.[DOUBLEPOST=1377625970][/DOUBLEPOST]

3) Special effects.

I said that Polynesian is from Brave New World. I know that BNW is a DLC. It takes longer to type Civ 5: Brave New World than to type Brave New World.

BNW is DLC, but Polynesia isn't BNW DLC. It's not a G&K either, it's a regular DLC. BNW and G&K are more like expansion DLCs.

I have Civ 5 Gold, but I don't have BNW yet, it's too expensive (greedy businessmen).

Man, those freakers bleeding us dry! How dare they get paid for their coding skillz.

Also, I have BNW, that's it. No gold or anything, I am thinking about buying most of the DLC though. I was both more excited about BNW and it seemed a more reasonable choice (World Congress is AWESOME). GK does add a GREAT deal of things though, I'll buy it eventually. Got any current Civ games going?

(We should make a Civ story thread or something)

OOC: I hate it when my text vanishes, because I accidentally closed the tab, or because the entire browser locked up -.- An Accelerant is basically petrol. Whizz, I have always been confusing, though you may not have noticed it. Technician, what exactly did you do? Oh, and I'm tempted to combine two times. :p They're at opposite ends of the spectrum, but I would like to try.

Reconstruction of the new Conduit Bunker was proving more difficult than had been anticipated. Since there was a distinct lack of both materials and tools, there were great delays, though the plans were mostly drawn up and revised by Spirit. Technician was nowhere to be seen, but that was not a surprise. Ashbite and his siblings were being quite the handfuls, but that was to be expected.

A spambot could be seen in the distance, but as it seemed to be doing no harm, it was left alone, but people were assigned to keep an eye on it, just in case.

Me and G were in my ship, screwing around in space. We had nothing to do, really.
"How's earth doing do you reckon?" He asked.
"Well, we're only an hour from it, we might as well go there."
And off we went.
"HOLY SHIT!" We said in unison as we saw the ravaged earth.
"This is The J, calling anyone on earth. Hello, anyone?"
"J! Techno here!"
"Thank goodness. What the fuck happened?"
Techno then explained what happened while me and G had been fighting small stellar colonies of spambots.

Technician was nowhere to be found? I assume you mean Techno because Technician is in Brazil Michigan.

Also, you'll unnerstand it eventually.
