I actually quite like the splash screen music in Pathfinder. I don't know if it's vanilla (I'd be surprised) or where Gideon got it, but I've never heard it in-game, which is unfortunate.

All of settlers 2 music of your sound-card can play midi files at least somewhat decent(not mine sadly)
age of empires 1 music is also awesome
