Hello Everyone!
I am theatredude and I am the mastermind behind the AwkwardPotions channel on youtube. Although you may not have heard of us, hold onto your pants because here we come. A few other team members and I are hard at work with our new idea "The Minecraft Movie Project". You got it, we are going to take Blockbuster movies and reproduce them for our favorite video game. However, we are in the need for some assistance. Below are a list of areas we could use dedicated gamers, like you, to help out by becoming a member of our team so we can have a little fun in our day to day lives.
Architecture/ Creative Designers- for set creation and decoration
Animators- For the Title Scene
Artist- for texture packs, costume skins, as well as the paintings for the set
Lead Actors- with great voices and good microphones
Supporting Actors- to be crowd members
Technical Experts- to design the "Minecraft only" Special Effects (as no video editing effects shall be used because where's the fun in that?)
Programers- for mod pack assistance and glitches (because all ventures have them)
Because of the copyright laws surrounding the movies we will be remaking, there will be No Payment to participants for their services and no money shall be made from the films. All services shall be strictly voluntary. This is project for fun and to share with the Minecraft Community.
If you are interested please send us a ONE PAGE BIO of your gaming experience and why we should choose you, examples of your work (preferably pictures or youtube links, No World Saves Please) and anything else we should know about you to [email protected]. Skype and microphones are required!
We have begun work on the trailer and plan to start the full production August 1st.
We are base in the US and operate on Central Standard Time (however we will not shy away from international players as long as English is spoken).
