The Launcher..

turn off "Reopen Launcher after exiting Minecraft" in options also. Having this on will let you kill the Minecraft proccess really fast though when needed. Which is why I leave it on.

??? I read all the posts in this thread and can't see the option referenced. I see the console option typed about.

It is one of the things that will put a FTB icon in you system tray. If you don't want the icon there then uncheck that option.
 
I dont want the console to show thats why I did it, and originally I thought the icon was the launcher.

Anyway this has all been sorted out so this thread can die now.
