I updated my bees to 1.4.1 and got Vis bee on the first generation, lol. So many hours wasted on an impossible to get bee!
As far as how well the bees work. I have 2 fastest working bees in alvearies around my pure node with about 10 cluster crystals and it keeps the flux at none easily. I also have 1 apiary on a huge unstable node with 5 crystals and some vis storage devices. It keeps the flux around moderate. About to add a second purify bee to that node. Before adding that bee, the flux in the area was always high/extreme and would spawn wisps very very fast. So overall I would say the bees work very well.
