Soo I've been cloning some nether quartz and now I'm stuck with 2003 Ignis aspects. K I could dump it ofc.. but well is there nothing useful I can do with it?

Would be nice if there was some way to combine aspects to get compounds, is there perhaps some way to craft/clone something which results in an item with the compound and then burn it again?

sadly there isn't really a way to use these kind of aspects for something besides the infusion and crucible crafting.
there are some machines/blocks that could still require essentia, but most of them have switched over to vis using stabilized nodes

That's really a shame. Feels really wasteful just banking there... could ofc drop it in a void jar... but yeh.. same story, not really effecient.

Yeh he/she means the infernal furnace. It can use both, so yeh using essentia is a bit weird then as vis is more effecient. but yeh that would even be a good idea.. make the crystals you can make out of vis a burning source.. then it adds at least "some use" ... (sure charcoal is easier to make still but well yeh.. I just noticed the amount of arbor I have for running my farms... I could burn ovens for years :p )

I'm guessing you mean the infernal furnace, and I believe that structure now uses vis instead of essentia
As far as I'm aware, you can still get it to use the ignis essentia, but you have to input it with the pipes into one of the holes on the furnace. On the sides of the furnace these are where you'd normally attach the bellows, but there is one extra hole on the bottom where you can attach a pipe, but are unable to attach bellows.

You could set up a centrifuge operation to break down all the unneeded aspects into things like Ignis for furnace, and Ordo for metal purifying (need metallum too, but chances are you got loads of that as well). That is a major ore processing operation that uses up some of the excess and is quite fast and efficient with good results. Not cheap on real estate, but eh, we got millions of acres... ;) There are a couple machines and uses for different aspects. Trick is to fine the useful ones hidden inside the complex ones and centrifuge them out. Just because. Also, for science. Mostly just because.
