Hello everyone, Santa here. I really want to get more into Thaumcraft. My only issue is I don't know what my end goal would be. I know I want warded stone/glass for my Nuclear Reactor. I don't need Boots of the Traveler because I have full Quantum Armor. I think I might want to fill up the Thaumonomicon just because I can, but I don't know. Tallow Candles are always cool, for my TC3 room. Wand of Equal Trade is always nice. But I don't know too much about ThaumCraft, I've only made the second tier wand and then I discontinued my world.

TLDR: What should my end goal for TC3 be?

You need a Warded Chest.
This is a must.
You also should get yourself one of those Tool deployer thing-a-ma-jigs?
Or am I talking about TT?

I don't know what either of those are. I'm assuming a Warded Chest is an invincible chest. I have no idea what a Tool Deployer Thing-A-Ma-Jig is though.

I just looked around the internet about ThaumCraft, I think I should make Arcane Levitators for my Power Room.

Arcane Levitators are coolio.
I just remembered, that stuff is from Thaumic Tinkerer.
I'm pretty sure it's in FTB 1.5.2.

You should try to get all the offensive wands and get stupidly high enchants on them.

Potency level 10 on the water wand literally glitches out the game because the ice shard is moving so fast.

I don't think the fire wand gets any bonus besides damage or something.

Electric wand gets damage too I think.

LOL^9000 earth wand

LOL^9001 wand of equal trade. Just target some ferns, get a whole bunch of them in your inventory, right click some stone and whala! you have INFINITE stone. Oh, and you can't cancel the effect either by the way.
It also ignores the ores so you have to go and mine those yourself.
Very good for deleting structures.

Why not just research everything with no preconceptions as to what you might find? You'll have more fun that way.
