Thaumcraft 4 - MagicFarm2 - Gold Transmutation Research - Impossible Puzzle

Well, RNG has managed to pooch the day!

Based on the guide on the forum here and everything I can find, Gold Transmutation Research is learned through the combination of Metallum and Permutatio only.

I bring with me here today, a puzzle that cannot be solved. For Metallum and Permutatio only provide me with three runes each. This puzzle (although I thought I found a way to do it with seven (7) ) appears to only be possible through the requirement of eight (8) runes!

I have marked out in different colors here the Possible placement zones where a rune must be in order to connect. As you may be able to discern -- there is no possible placement with only 6 runes to complete the puzzle.

If I am incorrect -- please for the love of everything Minecraft -- show me how... This research note will be driving me crazy for a while. xD

Ya, the randomness can kinda suck, throw the notes out and start a new one.

I haven't done a ton with TC4 yet - and this is Magic Farm so who knows what further alterations could have been made - but from what I understand, research notes don't 'remember' previous notes. So if you make a new note for Gold Trasmutation, it should give you a completely new puzzle. Don't quote me on that.

Yep, it's entirely possible to have an impossible research note. Just throw it away and hope for better luck on your next note.
