Thaumcraft 4.1 Research Help

I recently updated my server to DW20 1.0.16 which contains Thaumcraft 4.1. With that said we all know the research technique has changed. I read up and watched some how-to videos but I can't figure out my first research attempt.

Why isn't the following working?

I dont think the trade aspect ( forgot its name) is made of cognito, may be incorrect though.

On the left side there's two Fabrico next to each other, that doesn't connect.

Ahhh, for some reason I thought you could put the same aspect beside each other. I landed up taking a long route and did this to get it. Thanks!
