Does anyone else feel that Tech World 2 doesn't have enough tech mods. No ender storage no red wire cable no advanced machines. For a world only about tech mods i feel like they could've included so much more.
Anyone else feel the same way?

I've barely scratched the surface of my own TW2 world but that was basically my own impression of the mod list. If it were up to me I'd fix the problem by adding things like gregtech (um, tinkers presence notwithstanding), but TW2 would likely lose the majority of its base that way :)

Lack of project:red was the biggest surprise for me.

MineTweaker could have been used to change the recipe to a more technical craft. So, no excuse really.

Concur, although I imagine a modder could dress it up techilly* if necessary.

* coined nonsense; patent pending.
Tesseracts!
While they dont store stuff, since most people dont use the storage of ender chests correctly, tesseracts do the job :p

Now I'm curious... Can you define "correctly" as it relates to ender chest storage?

I'm guessing the chests were originally intended to be "extremely convenient storage" and not "transportation". I suspect this naivete was disabused about 12 seconds after release.

Enderchests are great IO's, using them correctly lets you have a chest both pull in contents, pull it out and have multi pull locations all doing lots of things.
I never see people using them like that >.>

Thats all i used it for i had multiple quarrys or multiple pumps running that would all pump into a single tank or chest and my me/tank would pull from that. But i feel like advanced machines and other tech mods(I keep hearing about some gacticraft) could be added to it.

And i didnt know that it was considered magical i always thought of it as a dimensional import export bus.

Him, I sort of do that... though I usually prefer to have different chests for input and output. Easier to wrap my brain around it that way.

Is there a difference between tw and um..... ftb lite?
Off the top of my head, Lite doesn't have IC2, ATG, or any kind of nuclear reactor.

Tesseracts may be better at IO, but they arent as good at sending items back to base from your person. An enderpouch I load while I mine gets automatically unloaded back at base. Does TW2 have anything that can accomplish this?

The only thing I thought was missing from TW2 was some UE mods, but of course, those don't belong in FTB for whatever strange reason.

DW20 has Calclavia, UE core and MFFS. The wall seems to have a hole in it now. Let people have a taste of the digital miner and they wont want to give it up.

Calclavia Core and UE Core are simply APIs for MFFS to use. And by UE mod I mean mods like Mekanism, Resonant Induction (which now also includes DarksBox), AtomicScience, etc

Yea I recently put in AS, ICBM, and Mek. I didnt like what RI brought to the table though. Everything felt redundant.
