Mekanism and UE are parting ways.
Resonant Induction is back with Calv, so no longer part of Mekanism.
UE is undergoing massive rewrite, as a result I've found all the latest versions are incomplete. I mainly use it for the turrets from ICBM (which now is all merged into one mod, not 3) but they are not craftable and don't work if creatively spawned in. Sticking with UE2.
Mekanism is going to be using RF in the future. It's the current popular and stable power system, so worth embracing. I think once it is using RF, we will be seeing it in FTB packs in the future. It works really well hand in hand with TE.
As to the digital miner, LOVE IT! Quarries are so last year...
