I have more energy than i am currently using. I feel so wasteful when i have my engines running all the time, but I don't want to turn them off! Are there things I can make that are fun/useful that I can make? I already have things like UU Matter production, and a mining quarry, plus an intricate AE system. Any ideas?

Constantly craft redstone energy cells and use an engineering turtle to check every tick to swap it once it's full.

You could just make an array of redstone cells and replace them accordingly. Automation through turtles is an idea.

Why not increase your UU matter production? Those things are great for sucking up all the excess energy.

Well, When I mean uses for surplus energy, I mean machines that would use it for me! And I have 11k of UU Matter already.... And It's pretty steadily increasing. So until I have a use for UU Matter besides diamonds, I don't really need to increase it.

Wait what?

DW20 doesn't need sunnarium and stuff?

So confused... >_>. I play FTB Ultimate. I don't know anything else heh. Explain?

Imput all your spare energy into oil fabricators or similar and store the liquid in wax capsules in your AE network for when the world order collapses.

Direwolf20 Pack doesn't use Advanced Solar Panels. It just uses Compact Solar Arrays.

And what do you mean by oil fabricators? :eek:oo

Why not take a break from all the technical stuff and build vanilla stuff. Not even technical vanilla stuff, just a cool base with automated redstone. Themes, etc. Focus on the architecture/aesthetics as opposed to all machines, etc. Maybe you have already done this though.

For me I find doing both at the same time isn't effective or efficient. You end up rebuilding all your crap because you find better ways, heh.
