Stuck On "Loading World" Help!

So if you've read the title you know what's going on, The World Wont Load! Yesterday there was a power cut out and my computer shut off after that there was a thunder storm and when it stopped i could play again, I logged on my computer, opened FTB and opened the Ultimate Pack, and then I tried to get on my world (SSP) and there it was, the evil loading screen that wont stop! I went on the forums for help but i didn't find any - i found some help but the loading screens there were due to Thaumcraft bugs, i did try that, still didn't work :/. But half a hour later the login servers went down... I went into panic and I stayed up to 2 a.m searching for more information didn't find anything i went to Slowpokes stream and he told me to write a Forum Post so here i am doing that. If anyone has experienced this and has the solution PLEASE reply!

Information:

I'm using the latest version of Java that i can download at the moment on their website

I'm using Windows XP

My ram is low so it could be a ram problem

Usually FTB takes up a metric crap load of my CPU so it could be a CPU problem too, but now it just takes 0 CPU and 45K Mem. Usage

I tried the other packs and they loaded just fine (It could be a corrupted file in Ultimate pack too).

There are so many reasons why this could have happened and which one i don't know :(

If anyone wants to take a closer look i can upload my world save.

first i would like to say "ick" to 32-bit systems...

ok...

first, open the options tab of the launcher and click force update.
return to the modpack section and launch ultimate and wait for it to redownload everything.
load your world

if this fails, your world may have been corrupted from the power outage and it not being able to save properly. you may have to start over, sorry.

Fixed it! I took a backup of my world took out the current files put the backup in, then over wrote the backup and it works!
