Streaming music on a server

So i know openblocks ads a radio which can stream music from internet radio inside minecraft. This is awesome unfortunately it doesn't always works and can be quite a hassle to setup.

Now iam wondering if there are other ways to stream music to ppl on the server?

Its no problem if we have to ad mods to the client or the server to make this work.

I would say that is a very narrow line to try to walk. With the way people were bent out of shape with Mojang's "clarification" of their EULA earlier this Summer and the "Service Issues" some streamers and YouTubers have recently experienced imagine what would happen when the RIAA caught wind of the wrong content being streamed? Those people are tight enough that they wouldn't stop with the Server OP but go after the Server host, the mod author and Mojang as well.

Pretty sure that wont be a problem since well be streaming ourselves. Just looking for ways to get music on our server other than jukebox or openblock radio (i dont see noteblocks as a practical alternative).

actually streaming a playlist on a server can be considered distribution by copyright enforcers, honestly just agree on a stream that you all like and listen to that outside of MC

there was a mod on MCF that allowed you to stream music on a server, but I can't seem to find it anymore...

Dont suppose that will be a problem here. Not looking for a copyright discussion here just want to know ways to get music on our server other than openblock radio and resource packs.
