Steve's Factory Manager and it's redstone condition related question

Hi, this is my first post, hopefully not the last one.
Recently I tried automating my Blood Magic slate creation process with SFM. I have a little setup with levers that lets me choose which slate I want. The problem is that when I turn the lever on and then turn it off the finished slate isn't taken out.
Is there a way to complete a task even if I turn the lever off in the middle of it?

you could perhaps have a condition so if the lever is off and there's still something in the altar it'll be taken out and deposited into a chest.
this does however mean that any item you're currently crafting will get taken out.

in my own world I have SFM set to autocraft 64 of each slate, and if I take some of the slates out it'll automatically craft more of them, when there's no crafting being done it'll put my blood orb into the altar to charge my LP

That was the first idea I got, but then I thought I can try to make it even cooler. I guess I will have to stick to the original idea then. Thanks anyway.
