I've had a couple ideas for Steve's factory manager. WARNING I HAVE NOT CODED IN JAVA (I do know python) BEFORE THIS WILL TAKE A WHILE
Steve's factory monitor-let's you view every item in any inventory connected to the system and take out what you want. Think of a sfm version of the as storage monitor
Steve's energy manager- an rf based power system that requires either thermal expansion, mekanism, or ender io. Would add a fluxed cables with recipes for each of the compatible mods. There would be tiers of cable that would limit how much energy could be transferred to account for balance of current mods cables. There would also be an option to make the factory manager take energy on a let trigger basis. This would be fully configurable.

Sounds cool, but if it relies on TE, Mek, or Ender IO, why add more cables to the mix? If you already have those mods, you already have tiered cable options from all 3. Just curious. I am just getting into Horizons and have never seen much on Steve's Factory manager, but it looks amazing. Could you point me in the right direction of a good source for learning more about it? I would guess you are pretty familiar with it if you have an add-on idea for it.

Here is a link to vswe's YouTube page where he documents all features http://www.youtube.com/user/VsweGoesMinecraft
And the reason for the cables is for compactness of systems. You know how you can get redstone fluids energy and items in the same block with ender io? Its kind of like that.

I do like that idea. Ender IO has become my favorite mod since it was added to the packs for that exact reason. Everything in one and can be matched to any texture. It can even carry ME cable now. I like it since there is no BC in Horizons to make facades and they weren't microblock compatible before.
Thanks for the info. I will definitely be checking it out.
