Steam power ? halp

ok i made a steam boiler and its producing steam but, i need to some how use the steam, i can either use insdustrial steam engine or a steam turbine OR convert steam directly too power with energy bridge.. which should i take ? :eek:

IMO you need to figure out what you are going to power first. If you are going to power IC2 machines, then sure Turbine is the way to go. But is it MJ machines like quarries etc. then go Industrial steam engines.

Ofc if it is both, then you can also mix them. As long as you calculate the steam produce/steam used right.

If you are just going to use a (cheaty :p) energy converter, then I would not use the turbines as there is manual maintenance involved with changing/repairing the blades.

If your modpack has power converters, the correct answer is always the energy bridge.

Like @rhn said, its cheaty, but if its in the pack, that's how it is :)
