So, this is a problem that's been driving me up the wall today, and I was hoping someone might have an answer. I made a similar post on Reddit, but the responses I've gotten haven't been particularly helpful, though I'm not sure if I really explained the problem well enough.
Whenever I craft, or even so much as move an item in my inventory screen, and attempt to place or use that item in any way afterwards, the change is immediately reverted. For example: I open up my inventory with the E key (that I have double and triple-checked is correctly keybound to my inventory screen and not the ArmorGUI) and turn one oak log into 4 planks. I then move those planks onto my action bar, close my inventory, and place one.
Immediately the plank vanishes from both the world AND my action bar. I open my inventory and see that the planks have reverted back to a single oak log.
Additionally, if I even just move an existing block in my inventory, such as a piece of dirt, onto my action bar and then attempt to place it, the exact same thing happens.
Here's what's weird. If I open a chest (or other inventory-related interface) and bring up the inventory interface without directly using the keybinding, I can move blocks onto my bars and use/place them without issue. It is only when I access my inventory through my pre-defined E key that the reverting happens.
In addition to that, the keybinding for my IC2 mode switching has also been acting up. For the electric jetpack, when I disable Hover mode, I still move as slowly as if I was still in hover mode, though I still get the chat message saying it was disabled. When I fly up with hover mode disabled, I float down slowly as hover mode normally would, but when I touch the ground I take fall damage as though hover mode was actually disabled.
Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I've looked through my keybindings, and can confirm that there are no conflicting bindings. Also, I've set and re-set the key bindings numerous times.
(Side note, this all started happening when I was setting up my portals with Enhanced Portals. It happened right around the time a crash occurred when I tried to use a location card on a portal controller before syncing it to the stabilizer multi-block. Not sure if it's related or not.) (I also apologize if this isn't in the right area.)
