Soo... Why exactly is it impossible to automate a Steam Turbine?

Breaking news: you can use atomic science turbines to produce eu/mj/UE power, and it only costs a bit of steel and a bit of bronze to make.

And yes, atomic science steam and railcraft steam work interchangeably (actually I think atomic science uses railcraft steam if its installed.)

its hardly news, for those who`ve been messing with AS reactors, but someone might be interested :)

Now you do realize if you keep a steam turbine at a low draw, the blades last FOREVER?

We've had a steam turbine running at 15% to 25% on our server 24/7 for MONTHS and the blades are still above half durability...

Don't mess with atomic science in a railcraft context unless you want to change the configs a ton. Only very recently has Calclavia put the defaults and something more compatible with Railcraft steam.

One of the reasons that I adore that Resonant Rise is now openly available is this right here. Even though the major UE packs include RailCraft they update so infrequently and dealing with it myself was just too much of a hassel when all I actually wanted to do was play. Much respect to those of you who maintain configs for mod packs at the expense of your own game time.

Thanks for the recognition. We try not to be stingy about it though. Calclavia incorporated our current defaults into his build and 1.6 should be even more directly comparable. So everyone should have better compatibility now.
