Windows .exe [SOLVED] - Problems creating world and joining server

Operating system: Windows 7 6.1
FTB file type: .exe
FTB launcher v1.2.2
minecraft v1.4.7
FTB Ultimate v1.0.1
Java version 7 Update 17

The launcher seems to work fine, and I get to the menu screen OK. I try to create a new world, or join my friend's server, however, and it crashes. The console doesn't show the same thing every time, either.

So I tried one more time, and here is the console log:

After this, the feed the beast window keeps on "Not Responding" and is stuck looking like this:

It sits there in a weird state of limbo, the windows not responding, duplicating, not responding, one closing, not responding, etc. (although not necessarily in that order- it just seems to be in some sort of state of flux). I can't close the windows until I either end the java process, or end the task of FTB.

From what my friends told me, the server told them I had logged on, although I never saw anything other than the loading screen of dirt, and afterwards, the program crashed. It no longer crashes and instead does the weird flux thing (after moving the file from a fuller drive to an emptier drive) so I'm kind of confused as to what is going on.

Upgrade to java 7

I checked, and I have java 7 update 17.

Are you running 32 bit or 64 bit. How much ram? Are you using a texture pack?

64 bit system type. 8GB RAM. The only texture packs I have are the Feed the Beast ones that come with ultimate, and I haven't selected any, so whatever is default. 3GB allocated RAM to feed the beast.

Thanks for helping, by the way, I was beginning to give up hope of ever getting this running.

Takes me to the main FTB menu screen. I click single player, then create new world.

Some red text comes up in a chunk but before I can pastebin it or copy and paste it, the whole program shuts down, including console and feed the beast.

Do you have both j6 and j7 installed? This can lead to errors. And I see a lot of calls to j6 libraries in your crash report.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling java. (j7)

If that doesn't work. Try uninstalling and reinstalling ftb.
