If your energy source is a redstone energy cell each side is configured in the GUI to be input or output. As made I think only the right and or bottom face is set to output and all others are input. The creative cell of course is all sides output as it has no need to accept RF.

Blue marks on the corners and in the IO config UI designate an input sid. Orange designated output (which is different to the side disabled setting).

Connect your ender IO energy conduit to a TE energy cell side configured for output and the RF will flow.

It works! Thank you very much!

Now what pipes should I use if I would like to extract lava per instance?

Sorry for all the question by the way, as you can see I am new to ftb.

Fluid pipes can include a number of mods. BuildCraft have waterproof pipes, but require specific pipes (like wooden) and a power source to draw into them. Thermal Dynamics has Fluiducts, which similarly require (in most instances) a servo to draw liquid into them. Extra Utilities gives Liquid Transfer Nodes, which (I'm not particularly familiar with them) which can be used by the knowing to great effect. EnderIO has likely the most user friendly pipes available, as they come with built-in servos and can be placed in the same block as power and item conduits.

I tend to use a few types through my builds, depending on the task I need done (and the throughput). Some machines auto-output into pipes, while others (and most tanks) need a method of drawing from them. Try a few and see what works for you.

Edit: Worth mention that the lowest tier of TD Fluiducts will burn when carrying hot liquids (lava/steam).

Yea, I've look through the pipes available and I found out that the hardened fluidduct are the best for what I plan to do.

Thank you everyone, I've got everything figured out now!

If you have ender io in the pack, and can afford the material costs, I would recommend the ender io conduits for all your RF, fluid, and item transport needs. In addition to their numerous other features you can place item, power, fluid and redstone conduits in the same block making them super neat.
