[solved] crash with optifine

Hello --

I am trying to use Optifine_1.4.6_HD_U_B6 and each time I try to load a world Minecraft will hang. I have also tried to use Optifine_1.4.6_HD_B6 with the same results. The game will load normally when Optifine is disabled. The mod has been installed from within the launcher by putting the Optifine zip file in the

Optifine is not compatible with Forge version 515.

If you absolutely need to run Optifine then you need to upgrade Forge to version 518 and download the latest version of Optifine (C3).
