I have them working together in my modified Monster just fine.

Alright so that isn't the issue, It was just a thought seeing as they aren't in Monster by Default I thought perhaps that was the reason behind it.

What kind of memory does your computer have. I read 2GB in that second pastebin and remember that lots of FTB mods might crash with 2GB or less of memory.

I do remember something about more memory being set then is there causing errors too. Just can't remember.

My computer has 8 gig's of memory. I am using ~2.5 gig (2560 MB) for the modpack. Which I was using a long time ago and it worked wonders.

I have however removed RRutility as I checked the config and it adds nothing. So after removing that I got a different error:

http://pastebin.com/9Cne3FZy Which can be found here.

I noticed the OutOfMemory part so I bumped up my Memory/RAM to 3072 MB AND 3584 MB. Both resulting in the same error, I've also increased my PermGen Size from 256 to 512 to see if this helps but it still gives me the same error. Which can be found here:

"java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded" is normally a memory leak issue. Is this happening when you launch FTB, or when you try to get into the world?

If it's only doing it when trying to get into the world, it might be a chickenchunks chunkloader (they do that sometimes). If this is the issue, backup your world, disable chickenchunks, and then try to get into the world.

Nope it's before I even get to the intro screen basically. I was considering that aswell but disabled it and still didn't work so :p.

Can you copy/paste what you have in your java arguements in the launcher?

I just noticed this in your second log:

-Xms256M -Xmx2560M -XX:permSize=256M -Xmx512M

having two Xmx entries is no bueno :)

no Java parameters yet it's adding it in twice...very strange. You might be better off just completely uninstalling ftb and reinstalling it.

  1. Delete your FTB Install by going to your FTB folder and deleting it (you can backup this folder before you delete it to keep your world)
  2. navigate to /appdata/roaming and delete the ftblauncher folder.
  3. Reinstall FTB

That is AT Launcher.

Up the permgen space to 1028 . that might help. Might want to double the amount of RAM allowed too.

Though "31. Memory: 18817816 bytes (17 MB) / 515899392 bytes (492 MB) up to 515899392 bytes (492 MB)" is kinda worrying me.
Could you run DXDiag...then the 64bit version and save all in the 64bit DxDiag and post it to pastebin. I know the game doesn't use DirectX. Yet it still might be of use.

This is the DxDiag (64 bit) version I ran a few minutes ago: http://pastebin.com/zTVY16KY

I've also increased the Permgen space to 1028 and increases the RAM / MB to atleast 4608 MB. And I got a different crash:

http://pastebin.com/nDrCyDkm

I've tried to 'Start' again but now it was 'stuck' on something I believe and just crashed without generating a crash report.

Kinda weird. I was looking up my old error logs to see if there was anything dissimilar. Found:
Code:
Memory: 642044056 bytes (612 MB) / 2930769920 bytes (2795 MB) up to 4772069376 bytes (4551 MB)
and then compared it to your crash report and still find
Code:
100. Memory: 18396608 bytes (17 MB) / 517472256 bytes (493 MB) up to 517472256 bytes (493 MB)
.

I think there is a setting or something choking the memory allotted to your computer's java.

===
and your computer is 1/2 Dutch and 1/2 English. Which is interesting. Windows 7 Ultimate sound interesting too. Though I don't know what it all means.

To give a little update on my situation.

I think I found why it did the -Xmx512M part. Apperently in my Java Enviroment (Configuration screen --> System --> Advanced System Settings -->Enviroment Variable's). There was a _JAVA_OPTIONS part that was scrolled down which I didn't notice untill later.

But I've decided to rest that old world of mine and start over.

The way I found that _JAVA_OPTIONS part though is because I made a back-up of my old world and deleted the launcher and delete settings and everything and reinstall and get a new instance of the pack (to try Staxed way of getting the -Xmx512M part away :p) and even when I did a fresh install, it would still crash and I was at the point of just throwing it all away but I decided to check everything again that was mentioned in the thread and a few things I found on the internet and well low and behold there was something I oversaw. So that was most likely the issue with it all crashing.

So all in all it was pretty simple, but oh well, time to lay that world to rest and start over :)! I might go ahead and make a thread on the Community Showcase section for my adventures, haven't decided yet :)!

Thanks for all the help though, really appreciate it :D!

Alright so that isn't the issue, It was just a thought seeing as they aren't in Monster by Default I thought perhaps that was the reason behind it.
Most mods in monster are for slowpokes new map.

And AM2 and rotary/reactorcraft are in Horizons, both enabled by default
