Sky factory 2.5 crashing

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title Sky factory 2.5 crashing

Launcher Type Curse App

Modpack FTB presents Sky Factory 2.5

Modpack version 2.5.4

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file http://pastebin.com/027v3tP1

Details of the issue It says that the world will be corrupted if I continue. I looked up and i think I might need to get rid of elec332 file but I can't find this modpack and the saves in %appdata%. Where would I find it?

You're correct in that you need to delete the "elec332" _folder_. I personally have no idea where Curse stores the saves/etc, but I just asked on IRC so someone hopefully answers soon and I can edit it here

E: I got info that it'd be in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances by default. go check there

I got to the saves folder thanks to your help but when I search for elec332 it says no items match your search. When I click my world in the minecraft app it says forge mod loader detected that backup level.dat is being used. Others posts say if I copy the files under the folders from a new world to my existing world it fixes it. Would this work?

The elec332 folder should be inside your save folder (named whatever the world is named), no idea if the other fix would work as I have always resolved these issues via regening the elec332 folder.

I have attached a screen cap of what the world save looks like. There is no elec folder as far as i am concerned.

Purrhaps you could try regening the config file for Elec, promptly named ElecCore.cfg and resides within config -> Elec's mods folder

You delete it. "Regening" refers to regeneration

Tho the config seems fine. I still think you have a hidden elec332 folder somewhere because you obviously have the mod installed :D

Try restoring the world from a backup. There should be a backups folder in the instance folder.

If that does not work then try deleting and re-installing the pack.
