Sky Factory 2.5 crash on world load

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title Sky Factory 2.5 crash on world load

Launcher Type FTB Launcher

Modpack Sky Factory 2.5

Modpack version 2.5.6

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/fe6c1542

Details of the issue When attempting to load my save file in Sky Factory 2.5, the game will crash. Forge doesn't seem to have any trouble actually loading the pack, nor does there seem to be any issue creating a new world. To ensure that I had the most recent version of the modpack, I tried restarting and force updating, but it didn't seem to change anything.

In your config folder, open forge.cfg with a text editor and set B:removeErroringTileEntities = true. This should remove the block causing your world to crash.

Double check that you turned on B:removeErroringTileEntities and not B:removeErroringEntities if you got the right one you can try disabling ChickenChunks.

I did notice those two were similar when I did the edit- Looks like I did the correct one, though.

I disabled ChickenChunks and was able to get my world running again. WAILA seems to have given up on life, though... Everything's saying it's enabled, but it's not displaying. I'll figure it out.

Should I change the forge config back as it's working again?

Thanks so much again!

You can change it back, yes. If you leave it on it will basically remove a block if it crashes, best to leave off but good to remember trying if something goes wrong :)
